Can you tell me a memorable experience or interaction with another person/people in the life of church?
I met this mature gentleman in church (he's 76 years old) who started coming to our Kent service 6 months ago and has been regularly attending with his wife. We spoke the other day at connect group where he shared with me just how grateful they were for our church, for the great sense of family and connection and for the weekend services. He told me that when the worship starts on Sunday morning, tears well up in his eyes and roll down his cheeks. He just loves being in the presence of God, building his house and being part of the family.

Can you tell me an amazing God encounter you've had somewhere in the life of church?
For me the most amazing God encounter I have had in church over the past 10 years was when i first heard Ps Joseph Prince speak about grace, back in the Mermaid Theatre. I had been to church for many years, sat and listened to many incredible messages, but never had I heard and understood the gospel of Gods grace for my life so clearly. That day, and the nights to follow, transformed my relationship with God. Finally the penny dropped and I understood that I was the righteousness of Christ, that I was totally forgiven, that God was not angry with me and I had access to all of Gods covenant blessings. Not because of anything I had done, but because of what Jesus did for me upon the cross through his amazing grace. That day in church changed my life. That day changed my walk and relationship with our loving father in heaven forever.
